LPN Evening Instructor

About the Role

Jersey College is seeking Adjunct Registered Nurse Instructors who have a passion for teaching and are dedicated to fostering student success in nursing education. This role involves providing clinical instruction and guiding students' professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute clinical sites.
• Create a clinical environment that fosters students' academic growth and professional development.
• Prepare student progress reports and grade reports.
• Maintain accurate and timely attendance records.
• Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
• Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience progress.
• Attend faculty meetings.
• Maintain professional qualifications through continuing education, in-service training, and academic courses.
• Perform other duties as required by the program director, program dean, or campus administration.

• Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse contributing to student learning.

Qualifications

• MSN required.
• Valid State RN License required.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.
