LPN Emergency Department
Job Summary
As an Emergency Room LPN/LVN at HCA Healthcare, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care when every second counts. You will use your clinical skills, steady focus, and attention to detail to help stabilize patients and support urgent interventions.
Responsibilities
- Supporting emergency care by administering medications, assisting with procedures, monitoring conditions, and performing vital tests within your scope.
- Documenting patient assessments, observations, and interventions clearly to support seamless hand-offs and coordinated care.
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding quickly to changes to support timely treatment and patient safety.
- Educating patients and families with compassion, explaining care and health information in a way that’s easy to understand.
- Working closely with nurses, providers, and the entire ER team to deliver responsive, patient-first care in a fast-moving setting.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- (LPN/LVN) Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse.
- Vocational School Graduate.
- No Travel Required.
