About the Role

The LPN Electrophysiology (EP) Coordinator provides clinical and operational support for patients receiving care through the Electrophysiology service line. Working closely with EP physicians, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), nursing staff, clerical staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary team, the EP Coordinator helps ensure timely, coordinated, and consistent care for EP patients.

The EP Coordinator serves as a key clinical resource for the EP team, supporting patient communication, clinical follow-up, diagnostic testing, medication-related workflows, care coordination, and ongoing management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and implanted cardiac devices. The ideal candidate is highly organized, clinically knowledgeable, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to independently identify and address barriers affecting patient care while appropriately escalating clinical concerns.

The LPN EP Coordinator is expected to take ownership of assigned clinical coordination activities and support continuity of care across the EP patient population. The role requires proactive management of clinical workflows rather than task-based processing alone, with an emphasis on ensuring that provider recommendations, patient concerns, diagnostic testing, and follow-up needs are addressed in a timely and consistent manner. The coordinator works collaboratively with the entire EP team to create a reliable, efficient, and patient-centered approach to electrophysiology care.

  • Experience with clinical telephone communication, patient education, and care coordination
  • Experience with Epic or a comparable electronic medical record system
  • Strong clinical communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to manage multiple patients, clinical tasks, and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
