LPN - Dermatology Clinic

Responsibilities

• Providing patient care by performing assessments, obtaining vital signs, and assisting with dermatologic procedures.
• Administering medications, injections, and treatments within scope of practice.
• Monitoring patient progress and communicating changes to healthcare providers.
• Educating patients on skin conditions, treatments, and post-procedure care.
• Coordinating follow-up appointments, referrals, and testing to ensure seamless care.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in electronic medical records.
• Supporting clinic operations, ensuring patient flow, and assisting with care transitions.
• Participating in quality improvement, adhering to safety standards, and completing ongoing education.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program with current LPN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or obtained shortly after hire.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and establish positive relationships.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
