LPN/ Columbia FT

About the role

Under general supervision of the Hospital Administrator, Office Manager and Managing RN, uses the nursing process to safely provide patient care and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Document clinic patient care given
• Assist with review and maintenance of patient chart per clinic policy
• Assist with accurate and timely entry of patient data, orders, and charges into computer system
• Assist RN Manager and Office Manager with orientation and preceptorship for technicians and clerical staff assigned to Hospital

Requirements

• Must be willing to be reassigned within department or willing to float to another department
• Must be able to work and relate in a professional, non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, patients, and visitors
• Attendance to yearly mandatory education requirements is nonnegotiable and will be the responsibility of the employee to arrange and attend sessions

Schedule

• Assigned up to 40 hours per week according to the needs of the department and staff
• Some weekend work may be required

Qualifications

• Expected to function within the LPN's scope of approved policies, procedures, and regulations for the clinic and organization
