Key Responsibilities

• Carry out patient intake activities such as vital signs, mental health check-ins, medication reviews, and preparation for psychiatric evaluations.
• Aid providers with medication administration, including long-acting injectable medications, and monitor patient responses according to safety protocols.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient communications in the electronic health record to facilitate coordinated care.
• Instruct patients on medication adherence, symptom management, follow-up plans, and available support resources.
• Alert providers or RNs to behavioral health concerns and implement established procedures to ensure a safe clinical environment.
• Maintain organized exam rooms and prepare clinical supplies and equipment for daily psychiatric care operations.
