About the role

As our Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you’ll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team. You’ll take the lead on proactive preparation of patient charts; ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. This is a highly sought-after position, offering a 40 hour work week with weekends off and free parking.

Responsibilities

• Manage care for multiple patients, adapting to physician availability on-site, and actively collaborate with your clinical team to prioritize tasks and ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Prepare patients for practitioner visit; room patients, obtain and record vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem; chaperone and document the patient exam, ensuring patient privacy and comfort.
• Perform, or assist with, patient care, diagnostic tests and clinical procedures to appropriate level of training/scope of licensure and established procedures; follow triage standing orders/protocols for routine nursing situations and refer complex, urgent or emergent situations to an RN or provider.
• Assist with point of care testing (CLIA-Waived Tests only)/lab tests following established protocols/instructions.
• Administer patient medications per written provider order; track and log medication usage per established policies; inventory counts of controlled substances.
• Document procedures and interactions in patient’s medical record in accordance with established procedures; enter, pend and sign orders as appropriate.
• Organize exam rooms, including general cleaning, upkeep and re-stocking of supplies; prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain related equipment.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• One year of LPN work experience in a clinic setting.
• Licensed Practical Nurse: WA.
• Basic Life Support - CPR.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of acute care LPN work experience.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $28.55 - $48.43 /hour.
