Job Description

Captures and provides quality patient-focused care in a physician's clinic.
Coordinates patient flow and ensures their comfort.
Enters patient information and performs vital signs.
Assists physicians with examinations, treatments, and office surgeries.
Performs phlebotomy and laboratory tests as required, adhering to state and federal regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Use of computers, telephone, fax machine, copier, stethoscope, EKG machine, pulse oximeter, oxygen devices, wheelchairs, stretchers, scales, glucose monitor, and other patient care equipment.
• Proficiency in using these tools via on-the-job training and orientation.
• Possession of an Associates Degree or equivalent in a field specific to Licensed Practice Nurse preferred.

Education and Experience

• Associate degree or equivalent education preferred.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
