LPN, CIM New Bern

About the role

The LPN will perform services in the provision of supportive or restorative care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Assess patient needs and document observations accurately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report significant changes to supervising nurse.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety through effective communication and interventions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Current LPN license with North Carolina State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
