About the role
The role of LPN Charge Nurse involves overseeing a team of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in a healthcare setting. The nurse is responsible for ensuring patient care quality, managing staff schedules, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the LPN team
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies
- Manage staff scheduling and training
- Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers
- Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans
- Perform direct patient care duties as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN license
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Experience in charge nurse roles preferred
