Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing skills to assess and care for patients
- Administer medications and treatments
- Maintain documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience
- Current LPN license in the hiring state, with ongoing licensure compliance
- Experience may vary from new to experienced LPNs
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) based on department needs
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move patients, with ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds
- PREFERRED: IV certification within one year of hire
