About the role
The role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care under the supervision of licensed professionals or Registered Nurses. It includes coordinating care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and ensuring adherence to organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic care for individuals with psychiatric, behavioral, or substance use disorders.
- Support evaluation, medication therapy, individual and group therapy, and relapse prevention.
- Maintain professional accountability and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote structured therapeutic programs.
Requirements
- Practical Nursing Degree from an accredited institution.
- Current LPN license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Basic Life Support certification; IV Certification within 1 year.
