LPN - $29-34/Hour - Part Time

We are seeking Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Lakeview Behavioral Health team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care is provided to our patients.

Schedule

• Part-time Night Shift (7p-7a), block scheduling
• Part-time Day Shift (7a-7p), block scheduling
• Two (2) 12-hour shifts per week, including a weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient health and administer basic care utilizing the nursing process within the LPN/LVN scope of practice in carrying out care plan objectives and goals
• Role model expectations related to customer service and demonstrate a sense of urgency related to patient safety
• Collaborate with others to ensure patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met; acknowledge and work to resolve customer complaints when needs are not met
• Provide for the basic comfort of patients and implement nursing interventions identified in the individualized plan of care
• Apply appropriate interventions to progress the patient towards wellness and address maintenance of wellness
• Discuss care provided with patients and listen to their concerns
• Report status changes and concerns to registered nurses and doctors
• Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patients, visitors, coworkers, and others involved in patient treatment
• Provide for the safe delivery of medication in accordance with policies, procedures, physicians' orders, and current practice
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policy, external governing bodies, performance improvement standards, and psychiatric nursing standards
• Responsible for thorough, accurate reporting and documentation of patient symptoms, responses, and progress
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility preferred
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
• First aid may be required based on state or facility
