Lower School Teacher
About the role
St. Martin’s Episcopal School is seeking a full-time Lower School teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualified candidates should hold at least a Bachelor's degree and have teaching experience.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with our curriculum standards.
- Creating a positive classroom environment.
- Utilizing effective teaching strategies and techniques to help each child by providing individualized support and guidance to students as needed.
- Working closely with and maintaining positive relationships with the pre-kindergarten team, learning specialist, and other Lower School teachers.
- Partnering and communicating regularly and effectively with parents.
- Writing report cards and maintaining student records.
- Continually improving skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
- Show enthusiasm for working within a faith-based educational setting and supporting the school’s mission and values.
Requirements
This opportunity will require a faculty member to possess the ability to be flexible and work effectively as a team member.
Qualifications
