Lower School Teacher

About the role

The Lower School Faculty at Swain Campus seeks an enthusiastic and experienced educator to join our dynamic team. This role involves teaching a range of subjects to students in grades K-5.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
• Provide individualized attention to students to support their academic and social development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units and share best practices.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and engagement.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
• At least three years of teaching experience at the elementary school level.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with children and adults.
• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Passion for working with young learners and fostering their curiosity.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing educational environment.

Skills

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
