Lower School Applied Math Teacher

About the role

Lakeland Christian School is seeking a creative and passionate Upper Elementary Applied Math Teacher who loves helping students see how math comes to life!

This teacher will design engaging, hands-on lessons and projects that connect math to real-world problem solving, engineering, and everyday experiences.

The ideal candidate will inspire students to think critically, communicate their ideas, and explore the purpose and of math through a Christ-centered, Biblical worldview.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the Upper Elementary level.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Ability to teach from a Christ-centered, Biblical worldview.
