Low Voltage Technician – Walnut Creek, CA

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to install and service security cameras, access control systems, network infrastructure, and burglar alarms. Additional projects may include cable installation, fiber optic cabling, or Cat 5 wiring.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to install systems on-site
• Respond to repair calls
• Read blueprints to determine optimal component and wiring placement
• Test all systems and troubleshoot issues
• Train clients on system operation

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Technician certification
• Low-voltage and cabling experience
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of electrical safety procedures
• Driver’s license and reliable vehicle (preferred)

Qualifications

• 1 year of low-voltage experience (preferred)
