Low Voltage Technician / Electrician (Data Center & Structured Cabling)

About the role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage electrical systems in data centers and structured cabling environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low voltage electrical systems including data center infrastructure and structured cabling networks.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs on existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with network engineers and IT staff to integrate new systems into existing infrastructure.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and comply with industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in electrical testing equipment.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Pay

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule
