- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and construction drawings
- Install electrical wiring, circuits, panels, and control equipment
- Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling
- Install and support telecommunications equipment such as routers, switches, network devices, and alarm systems
- Install control and distribution equipment including switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels
- Run, pull, terminate, splice, and test cabling for voice and data networks
- Ensure installations comply with NEC requirements and industry standards
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on both electrical and low-voltage systems
- Label and document installations, maintaining accurate system records and inventory
- Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other trades on job sites
- Maintain professional communication with customers, suppliers, and team members
- High School Diploma, Technical School Diploma, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work and/or low voltage systems
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, structured cabling, and telecommunications infrastructure
- Ability to read blueprints and installation drawings
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to safely operate industry tools, testing equipment, and installation devices
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to bend, kneel, and work in construction environments
- Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, and humidity
