Low Voltage Technician
We are seeking experienced Low Voltage Technicians to support large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout Southern Utah. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a strong likelihood of extension or permanent placement.
About the role
Technicians will report to a central location in St. George, UT and be transported to job sites by the dispatch team. Travel opportunities may be available and can provide additional earning potential.

Projects
- Access Control Systems (Salto)
- Security Camera Systems
- Structured Cabling Infrastructure
- Audio Visual Systems (Crestron, Q-SYS)
Responsibilities
- Install and troubleshoot access control systems
- Install and support audio visual equipment
- Install security camera and surveillance systems
- Perform structured cabling installation and termination
- Troubleshoot low-voltage systems
- Perform basic hardware setup and teardown
Requirements
Top Required Skills
- Structured Cabling (2-3+ Years)
- Installation and support of CAT5/CAT6 cabling
- Cable pulling, terminating, and punch-downs
- Experience working in commercial and industrial environments
- Access Control (2-3+ Years)
- Experience installing and supporting access control systems
- Salto experience preferred
- DC controls experience is a strong plus
- Audio Visual Systems (2-3+ Years)
- Installation and troubleshooting of AV systems
- Experience with Crestron and Q-SYS preferred
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Wireless Access Points (WAP)
- CCTV systems
- Video surveillance
- Security systems
- Technical support experience
Required Tools
Technicians are expected to provide their own tools, including:
- Punch-down tools (66, 110, Belden, and Krone)
- Phillips and flathead screwdrivers (#1 and #2)
- 10-in-1 screwdriver
- 6" and 8" adjustable wrenches
- Channel-lock pliers
- 9" lineman pliers
- Side-cutting pliers (dikes)
- Needle-nose pliers
- Flashlight
- Snips
- Cable knife or utility knife
- Tape measure
- Torpedo level
- Tool pouch
- Tool bag or bucket
- Sheetrock saw
- Hammer
Required PPE
The following PPE is required on site:
- Safety glasses (provided)
- Hard hat (available upon request)
- Gloves (available upon request)
- High-visibility vest (available upon request)
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
