Low Voltage/Structured Cabling Superintendent
Job Summary
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing project crews, ensuring adherence to safety and quality guidelines, managing project timelines, and providing technical support.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage various project crews and provide necessary training
- Assume responsibility for crew performance and safety
- Implement corrective actions in compliance with Company policy
- Act as the primary liaison with customer representatives
- Ensure project deadlines are met
- Manage workload distribution and staffing levels
- Ensure job completion and compliance with project budget
- Complete IES paperwork accurately and on time
- Prepare red-lined as-built drawings
- Serve as the main on-site customer contact
- Resolve technical issues as they arise
- Monitor and improve operational processes
- Maintain quality and safety standards
- Lead operations meetings and training sessions
- Manage tool and truck inventory/maintenance
Qualifications
- Physical and Mental Requirements: Outdoor and indoor construction work environment, self-motivation, positive attitude, professional demeanor, problem-solving skills, critical thinking, reading, writing, and presentation skills, organizational skills, ability to interpret blueprints, ability to lift and move heavy objects, ability to work at heights, off ladders, and in confined spaces, ability to drive safely, ability to learn and teach project management systems
- Education, Certification, License, And Skill Requirements: Supervisory or managerial experience, telecommunications or construction field experience, proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, ability to meet Company driving standards, ability to define projects, create scopes, estimates, tasks, and manage to completion, basic hand tools, trade tools
Pay
Min USD $35.00/Hr. Max USD $45.00/Hr.
