Low Voltage Site Supervisor

About the role

The Low Voltage Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the installation of security, network, A/V, and all low voltage cabling projects in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Supervise low voltage projects from start to finish.
• Oversee the installation of security, network, A/V, and all low voltage cabling.
• Ensure the termination, testing, and labeling of end-user devices.
• Direct the installation of card readers, cameras, speakers, displays, touch panels, projectors, and screens.
• Ensure compliance with applicable AHJ codes and industry standards.
• Maintain open communication with project managers to ensure work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.
• Ensure proper safety practices are followed and maintained.

Requirements

• Educational Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification Requirement: Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge.
• Experience Requirement:
• 5+ years experience in the commercial building construction industry related to: Structured Cabling, Security, Access Control, CCTV, A/V, Paging, Nurse Call, Sound Masking.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• OSP copper and Fiber Installation experience.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel up to 50% preferred.
• Own hand tools.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds.
• Able to work in high places and in confined places.
• Appropriate dress according to the work environment.
• Regular attendance following an established work schedule.
• Ability to work any shift/designated hours required.
• Ability to work during inclement weather or other conditions when others are not permitted to work.
• May require night and weekend work and travel to areas with varying field conditions.
