Low Voltage Service Technician

About the role

ABF Security is seeking a Service Technician to join their team. ABF is the local leader in providing security solutions to both residential and commercial clients. Previous service experience is desired but not required, as training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot burglary, access control, and CCTV systems in both commercial and residential settings
• Work independently and as part of a high-energy, goal-oriented team
• Complete paperwork on a timely basis
• Utilize and take home a company vehicle for daily job use
• Willingness to work overtime and participate in an on-call rotation (with incentives)

Requirements

• Experience with security, fire, CCTV, and access control systems
• Ability to use a multimeter and troubleshoot
• Self-motivation and strong communication skills
• Ability to work with others and provide excellent customer service
• Professional and clean appearance

Qualifications

• Must be able to wear steel-toed safety footwear at certain client sites or job locations
• Compliance with all site-specific safety requirements is mandatory
