Low Voltage Senior Lead Technician (PLT) – Field Leadership Role Position Summary The Senior Lead Technician is responsible for leading field execution, ensuring quality standards, and serving as the on-site authority for low-voltage installations. This role combines technical expertise with leadership and customer interaction. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute structured cabling, fiber, access control, and CCTV installationsInterpret drawings, manage field changes, and coordinate with project managementSupervise and mentor technicians and apprenticesPerform advanced troubleshooting and system validationEnsure compliance with MN PLT/TSC requirements and industry standardsInterface directly with clients, site supervisors, and other trades Qualifications Active Minnesota PLT license (required)3+ years of low-voltage installation experienceProven leadership experience on job sitesStrong knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and best practicesExperience with fiber optics, testing, and certification preferred What Success Looks Like Jobs completed on time, clean, and inspection-readyStrong crew productivity and minimal reworkPositive client interactions and repeat business Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $40–$50/hr (Depending on experience)Company vehicle or vehicle allowanceFull benefits package (health, PTO, holidays)Growth path into Foreman / Operations leadershipMust be US Citizen** This position not eligible for OPT/CPT sponsorship.
