Low Voltage Installer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Security Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of electronic security systems across Tennessee. This role is ideal for a technician with a strong background in access control, CCTV, low-voltage cabling, and security systems who enjoys working directly with customers and solving complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling for access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
• Respond to scheduled maintenance calls, service requests, and emergency support needs.
• Diagnose system issues and perform repairs, replacements, and system optimization.
• Program, configure, and integrate access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection systems.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation for customers and internal teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel regularly throughout Tennessee.
• Ability to work occasional after-hours or emergency service calls as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience in: Security systems, Access control, CCTV/video surveillance, Electronic security integration, Low-voltage installation and service.
• Technical trade school education or equivalent field experience preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Access Control Platforms: Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Software House, CCURE, S2RS2.
• Experience with CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems Platforms: Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec, Lenel.
• Experience with Intrusion Systems: DMP, Bosch.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials.
• Ability to work on ladders and in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• Ability to perform installation and service work for extended periods.

Pay and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00/hour.
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x regular rate.
