Low Voltage Installer
About the role
The main project involves installation of CCTV and access control systems. The company is looking to add 3–4 install technicians to the team (the posting mentions both 3 and 4). These technicians will install the actual hardware on a daily basis. An in‑house programmer is available, so additional programming skills are not compensated at a higher rate. Technicians will work on different job sites each day, meet their lead at the office each morning and ride together in a company vehicle, and may be assigned to different teams and report to different leads depending on the project. Work hours vary by project but are generally 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime common. The position is a contract‑to‑hire role based in Detroit, MI, and is fully onsite. Responsibilities
- Install CCTV and access control hardware on a daily basis.
- Travel to various job sites each day.
- Meet the lead at the office and travel together in a company vehicle.
- Work with different teams and report to different leads as assigned.
- Follow safety and installation standards.
Requirements
- Experience installing CCTV and access control systems.
- Proficiency with low‑voltage wiring, Cat5 and Cat6 cabling.
- Ability to read and follow technical diagrams and schematics.

Pay
Pay range: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour.
Schedule
Work hours vary by project but are generally 7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday; overtime is common.
