About the role
Join ECAM as an Experienced Low Voltage Technician and Lead the Charge in Cutting-Edge Surveillance Technology! Based in Salt Lake City, UT, you'll design, install, service, test, and maintain Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs), CCTV, alarms, and related equipment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all Mobile Surveillance Units (MSUs) and commercial sites under maintenance agreements are fully operational, clean, and accurately documented.
- Perform weekly preventative maintenance.
- Collaborate with operations teams to guarantee timely, on-budget project completion.
- Support subcontractors, installers, project coordinators, engineering managers, and sales personnel by conducting thorough site surveys.
- Provide consistent communication and updates to branch staff.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily activity reports.
- Stay current and knowledgeable in mobile surveillance systems and related technologies.
- Manage and update MSU and job site inventory records.
- Foster and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients.
- Keep Account Executives and branch personnel informed of any issues or developments at customer sites.
- Safely transport MSUs to, from, and between customer locations.
- Review video footage upon request from operations or clients and ensure operations is notified of all review requests.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Able to pass an extensive screening process.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company vehicle and insurance eligibility standards.
- Must pass all hiring requirements, including background check and drug screening.
- One year of hands-on experience with CCTV or alarm system installation.
- Technical knowledge of CCTV, access control, and low-voltage electronics.
- Basic understanding of electricity and job site safety practices.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer, and ability to quickly learn new software.
- May need to obtain and maintain a valid state security license, depending on location.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks at once with minimal supervision.
- Working knowledge of wire types, wire sizing, and common electrical standards.
- Comfortable using manual and electric hand tools following best safety practices.
- Good understanding of LAN systems as part of integrated security setups.
- Able to write basic reports, logs, and routine correspondence.
- Self-motivated and reliable team player who can also work independently.
- Comfortable working at heights and in physically active roles.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, staying alert for long periods, and managing tools and equipment with dexterity.

Competitive Pay: Starting at $26/hr
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position may offer overtime.
