Low Voltage Data Cabling Technician (Entry-Level & Experienced)

Responsibilities

• Install, pull, and terminate Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling.
• Install network racks, patch panels, and related hardware.
• Test and troubleshoot cabling systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean job site.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on ladders and lifts.
• Comfortable working in construction or active job site environments.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-state projects (as needed).
• Valid driver’s license is a must.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous low-voltage or electrical experience.
• Experience with cable testing tools (Fluke, etc.).
• Fiber slicing experience.
• OSHA certification.

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience).

Monday to Friday
Occasional overtime and travel-dependent scheduling
