About the role

The primary responsibility of the LIHEAP Program Support Specialist is to provide comprehensive support to the LIHEAP team to ensure the timely and accurate processing of applications. Mid America Assistance Coalition (MAAC) has a contract with the State of Missouri to process LIHEAP applications for residents in Clay, Jackson and Platte Counties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of experience in customer service, office environment, and data entry
  • Reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Support LIHEAP Manager with administrative duties
  • Support in-office team as needed
  • Review EA, Docuware and MIS reports
  • Aid with payment processing and reporting
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with ordering
  • Facilitate long-term file storage
  • Perform processes with accuracy and adherence to program regulations
  • Provide courteous and friendly customer services

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard

  • Ability to work in a confined area
  • Sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time

Pay

This is a non-exempt salary position with an annual pay rate of 35K - 38K (roughly $18-20/hr) based on a 37.5 hour work week.
