About the role

The Louisville office of Fisher Phillips is seeking a Mid-Level Employment Litigation Associate with 3+ years of litigation experience to join their growing team. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in litigation and the ability to manage substantive case responsibilities with increasing independence. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners while taking a lead role in case strategy, client communications, discovery, motion practice, and other meaningful client-facing work.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and responding to pleadings
  • Managing written and electronic discovery, including e-discovery strategy
  • Drafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motions
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Participating in mediations

Requirements

  • Experience handling litigation matters from inception through resolution, including:
  • Handling all aspects of employment law cases
  • Managing multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Advanced writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
  • The ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative mindset, empathy for teammates, and a strong commitment to client service

Skills

  • Admission to the Kentucky Bar required; Admission to the Indiana Bar a plus
