Lottery Field Service Technician

About the role

The Lottery Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing Brightstar equipment at Retailer locations. This includes responding to dispatches, driving to customer locations, delivering supplies, installing, removing, or repairing lottery equipment and communication devices, troubleshooting equipment issues, communicating with Dispatchers, and delivering basic training to new or incorrect-performing Retailers.

Responsibilities

• Transport and organize equipment, tools, and supplies in an organized manner.
• Maintain equipment to ensure continuous operation.
• Troubleshoot and restore malfunctioning equipment to working order.
• Communicate effectively with Dispatchers about activity, arrival and departure times, problems, and resolutions.
• Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper, ribbons, betslips, etc.
• Train new or incorrect-performing Retailers on proper procedures.

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED Equivalent
• 1 or more years of experience in a customer service-related position
• 1 or more years of experience in technical repairs, IT support, PC skills, automotive, or mechanical type skills
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record

Qualifications

• Physical ability to climb a ladder, lift and carry up to 50 pounds for a significant distance, sit and drive for prolonged periods, and work in close quarters.

Pay

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $19.00 – $28.00. The actual pay offered may be higher or lower.
