Loss Prevention Specialist (Wed-Sat 2000-0630)

About the role

As a Loss Prevention Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include coordinating safety training, writing incident reports, and performing various accident and loss prevention duties.

Responsibilities

• Be the welcoming face at our front gate
• Enforce policies that keep our team protected
• Document and resolve security matters
• Verify credentials and manage site entry
• Continuously improve our safety processes
• Collaborate on accident prevention initiatives
• Escort personnel to and from the property as needed
• Execute command post procedures during natural or man-made disasters
• Monitor severe weather and follow the emergency action plan

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Criminal Justice/Business OR equivalent experience
• Experience: 1-2 years in Safety, Security, or Loss Prevention
• Certifications: First Aid (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
• License: Valid Driver's License required
• Mindset: Safety-first attitude and attention to detail

Work Environment

This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.

Pay

$17.00–$20.00 per hour (Plus Shift Differentials)

Schedule

Core Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 8:00 pm–6:30 am
