Loss Prevention Specialist

Responsibilities

• Carry out accident and incident investigations to identify causation factors and document findings through written reports.
• Conduct compliance audits in areas such as portable fire extinguishers, emergency eyewash stations, shower stations, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, PIV operations, emergency exit routes, and emergency exit lights.
• Maintain safety compliance by conducting training sessions, performing facility, equipment, and working condition inspections, submitting suggestions for improvement, and submitting work orders.
• Maintain security by monitoring facility access through key control for entry and exit doors and office doors.
• Implement and audit motor vehicle operating policies and enforce parking regulations.
• Maintain and confirm approved property removal forms to ensure proper control of products, parts, and materials.
• Collaborate with Medical Technicians to provide necessary medical treatment for work-related illnesses and injuries.
• Assist and administer first aid to employees for work-related injuries and illnesses, and transport injured employees to medical facilities if required.
• Conduct drug tests according to standard operating procedures and only with HR approval.
• Escort personnel to and from property as needed.
• Execute command post procedures during natural or man-made disasters.
• Maintain awareness of severe weather conditions and follow the emergency action plan.
