Responsibilities Responsibilities for the Loss Prevention Officer Lead position include but are not limited to Lead by example in performance of job duties Support Management in setting and meeting goals Maintain working knowledge/performance of Loss Prevention duties Assist in training current and new Loss Prevention Officers Maintain working knowledge of Loss Prevention Officers work scheduling process Monitor, control, and document vehicular traffic Secure premises by patrolling property Inspect Vehicles Inspect closed containers Monitor controlled access points Complete/Verify required reports in a timely manner Record observations, occurrences and surveillance activities Prevent loss/damage to company property by providing a uniformed presence Investigate incidents of irregularity Contribute to a team effort Other duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an ON-SITE position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Loss Prevention Officer Lead Position should have the following Leadership skillsSurveillance skillsStrong ethical characterMust be dependable and reliable Ability to remain objective, impartial, and professionalGood people and conflict resolution skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalMust be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend EnglishBilingual is a plusExemplary performance and attendance record at previous employmentFacility Area KnowledgeStrong keyboarding and typing proficiencyComputer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office programsMust be willing and able to work in extreme weather conditions Ability to walk extensive distances throughout the facility for extended periodsMust have flexible hours, a "Floater” type schedule to help cover planned, unplanned absences or any other scheduling needs including weekends and holidays Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
