Loss Prevention Agent

About the role

Responsible for maintaining store security and preventing theft. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store and surrounding areas for suspicious activity
• Intercept and prevent attempted shoplifting and other criminal activities
• Respond to emergencies and assist customers as needed
• Document incidents and report them to management
• Ensure proper inventory levels and monitor for discrepancies
• Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and technologies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Previous retail or security experience preferred
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening

Skills

• Knowledge of retail operations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer skills (e.g., using a point-of-sale system)

Schedule

• Night shift (typically 7 PM - 7 AM)
