Loss Prevention Agent

Overview

The Loss Prevention Department for Hobby Lobby is seeking a full-time In-Store Loss Prevention Agent to help protect their stores. The ideal candidate must have previous undercover, floor walking Loss Prevention experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide undercover, plain clothes surveillance to identify and apprehend shoplifters
• Deter shoplifting
• Complete incident reports
• Review camera footage
• Apprehend shoplifters
• Review BOLO's (Be On the Lookout)
• Handle stressful, unpredictable, and potentially dangerous situations with rational judgment
• Build relationships with store management and local law enforcement
• Work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• At least one (1) year previous undercover, floor walking Loss Prevention experience
• Ability to travel to multiple stores in the area
• Strong communication skills
• Motor vehicle record check
• Background check
• Ability to spend up to 100% of working hours standing/walking
