About the role
The Default Supervisor at Proctor Loan Protector is responsible for training, preparing, and developing all new Default Specialists/Foreclosure Specialists. They also assist with questions regarding procedures and/or job aids.
Responsibilities
- Learn and become familiar with current servicing systems including the BKFS platform for servicing critical dates
- Supervise the daily workflow of the Default/Bankruptcy team ensuring all work is completed with established deadlines
- Collaborate with team members, business units, and management to contribute to department goals and maintain service level objectives in productivity and quality
- Inspire and motivate teamwork for achieving goals
- Maintain an impeccable attendance record
- Escalate red flags promptly and with the appropriate sense of urgency
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer/client information and interactions
- Adhere to all established company policies and procedures
- Monitor team email boxes
- Review timelines to ensure completion turn-times are as expected
- Update and maintain procedures and job aids as needed
- Adhere to a set schedule
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Two years’ experience in mortgage servicing or similar quality-driven customer service environment preferred
- One-year supervising experience preferred
- Familiarity with HUD reverse mortgage maturity timelines and Consumer Privacy Laws

Physical Requirements
- Necessary on a regular basis: Manual dexterity, arm and upper body range of motion sufficient for use of a keyboard, mouse and telephone
- 7-8 hours per day: Speech and hearing sufficient for in-person and telephone communication, Vision sufficient for use of a computer monitor, Sedentary position
- Standing, reaching, kneeling, stooping, bending, pushing and pulling may be required
