Supervisor Drafting/Designing

About the role

As a Supervisor Drafting/Designing, you’ll lead the production of telecom design deliverables while managing teams to ensure project success. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at problem-solving, organization, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of telecom design projects, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations and industry standards.
• Coordination and leadership of teams across multiple projects or clients, providing clear direction and fostering collaboration.
• Solution of complex OSP (Outside Plant) design challenges, leveraging technical expertise and creativity.
• Tracking and reporting team performance metrics, sharing successes and identifying areas for improvement.
• Utilization of tools like Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
• Maintenance of project documentation, ensuring data is accurate, organized, and readily accessible.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (GIS, Geography, Urban Planning, Computer Science) or 5+ years’ related experience.
• Proficiency in the use of hardware and engineering specific software (PCs, Tablets, IKE, ArcMap, O-calc Pro, CAD, ArcGIS, Google, etc.).
• Advanced proficiency in assigned function (Drafting, Designing, Make Ready, Geographic Information Systems, etc.).

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check.

Skills

Strong leadership, problem-solving, organizational, and technical skills are essential. Proficiency in relevant software and a passion for innovation are also required.
