About the role
The Los Angeles office of Fisher Phillips seeks a Senior Associate or Of Counsel with at least six years of employment litigation experience and demonstrated experience independently managing litigation matters to join our team supporting a dedicated multinational mass media and entertainment client.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation, including developing case strategy, managing deadlines, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving matters toward resolution
- Draft and respond to pleadings
- Manage discovery
- Draft and argue motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Qualifications
- At least six years of employment litigation experience
- Substantial experience independently managing employment litigation matters through all phases of litigation
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Eagerness to incorporate innovation and technology tools and platforms into practice
- Admission to the California Bar
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

Pay
The yearly salary range for this position is $260,000+. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
