About the role
The LoopTalk Program Development Coordinator (Volunteer) is responsible for designing and launching a new peer support and emotional support initiative at LoopRoots Foundation.
Responsibilities
- Research existing warm-line, peer support, and emotional support programs
- Create recommendations for the LoopTalk service model
- Develop program policies, procedures, and operating guidelines
- Design volunteer recruitment, screening, onboarding, and retention processes
- Create volunteer training materials and support resources
- Auxiliary with call routing, intake, documentation, and escalation workflows
- Identify potential mental health, peer support, and community partners
- Develop referral pathways for clients requiring additional support
- Develop quality assurance and program evaluation measures
- Assist with pilot launch planning and implementation
- Support future expansion planning and sustainability efforts
Qualifications
- Experience in peer support, mental health, behavioral health, recovery support, social work, psychology, counseling, nonprofit management, public health, or related fields
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Passion for supporting vulnerable and underserved populations
