Want to build a meaningful connection that lasts? LBFE’s Visiting Volunteer Program is one of our most powerful and rewarding volunteer opportunities designed to match you 1:1 with an older adult experiencing isolation.
As a Visiting Volunteer, you'll have the chance to form a genuine, ongoing friendship through regular in-person visits, offering companionship, connection, and joy to someone who truly needs it. It’s not just volunteering—it’s building a relationship that matters.
Requirements
- Attend a one-time volunteer orientation
- Complete a background check
- Join a short virtual training (1 hour) specifically for this program
