Long Term Substitute Teacher - High School Math

Temporary, long-term substitute position anticipated for approximately 4-6 weeks, starting 09/01/2026. Full-time, annual contract.

Requirements

• NYS Teaching Certification in Math 7-12 OR completion of program requirements with pending NYS Teaching Certification in Math 7-12
• Proficiency with personal computer, Chromebooks, and instructional equipment
• Background check and fingerprint clearance through Identogo/TEACH (New York State Education Department)
• Approval by the Wilson Board of Education

• Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
• Demonstrated ability to reach all types of learners
• Ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
• Evidence of effective classroom management skills with age-appropriate experiences
• Excellent communication skills; approachable, friendly, and available

Pay

Salary range: $110,000 – $130,000
