Long-Term Substitute: Teacher / General Music (.5 FTE) / District Wide

District-wide half-time position for a general-music teacher with the opportunity to teach elementary instrumental music.

Responsibilities

• Teach general music to all elementary grade levels
• Create a positive, enthusiastic, and dynamic classroom atmosphere
• Implement cooperative learning and student participation in classroom activities

Requirements

• Connecticut Teaching Certificate #049 (Music PK-12)
• Thorough knowledge of and ability to teach all levels of elementary school music
• High energy, creativity, and strong interpersonal skills

Pay

Salary in accordance with the Agreement Between Cheshire Board of Education and the Education Association of Cheshire.
