About the Role
Lake Washington School District is seeking qualified long-term (21-89 days) Substitute School Counselors for the 2026-2027 school year. Substitute counselors work at all levels K-12 to fill long-term absences on an as-needed basis during the school year. Work hours will vary based on the assignment.
Mandatory online orientation and training will occur after a candidate is selected and onboarded for a position.
Requirements
- Washington State ESA Certification as a School Counselor — REQUIRED
Pay
Long-term substitute school counselor assignments in excess of twenty (20) days will be paid at the contract teacher rate based on your degree, experience, and credits. See Salary Schedules - Lake Washington School District posted on the website.
This position does not meet requirements for state health benefits.
