About the role

The Lampeter‑Strasburg School District is seeking a Long‑term Substitute Learning Support Teacher for the period anticipated November 23, 2026 through the end of the 2026‑2027 school year. The teacher will provide eighth‑grade learning support in English/Language Arts and Mathematics within general education co‑taught classes, deliver intervention programming, teach self‑contained English/Language Arts, and manage overall case responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Eighth grade learning support English/Language Arts instruction within general education co‑taught classes
• Eighth grade learning support Mathematics instruction within general education co‑taught classes
• Intervention programming
• Self‑contained English/Language Arts instruction
• Overall case management responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education PK‑12 Certification
• Current Pennsylvania Criminal History background check
• Current FBI Criminal background check
• Current Child Abuse background check
• Proof of TB test, results within the past year
