About the role

A long-term substitute position is available in a NYS certified school district. NYS certification is required (B-2 Literacy and B-2 Special Education certifications preferred).

Responsibilities

• Teach students according to curriculum guidelines.
• Assist in classroom management and student behavior.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• NYS certification is required.
• B-2 Literacy and B-2 Special Education certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified teachers only.
• After 20 consecutive days substituting for the same teacher, the rate of $243.00 per day applies to NYS certified teachers.

Skills

• Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
• Knowledge of NYS education standards.
