LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE - 4TH GRADE MATH

Responsibilities

• Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures and objectives
• Facilitate student progress in the functional curriculum
• Provide effective individualized instruction to students in assigned classroom and with possible remote learning online
• Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
• Provide necessary support, communication, direction and feedback to assigned paraprofessional staff
• Maintain regular, positive communication with building staff
• Regular and punctual attendance is required
• Other duties as assigned by school administration

Requirements

• Valid Ohio Teaching License or Certificate
• Evidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
• Experience working with children in a school setting
• Able to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment
• Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills

Pay

• $125.00 per day for days 1-20
• $150.00 per day for days 21-60
• B.A. Base (61st day until end of assignment)
