4th Grade Teacher_ Long Term Substitute

Description Louisiana Key Academy – Northshore is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Guest Teacher to join our team for December-Mid February. This position will provide classroom instruction and support during a temporary teacher leave. The successful candidate will maintain a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment while continuing to support the academic and social-emotional needs of our students. Requirements Responsibilities: Provide high-quality instruction aligned with grade-level standards and school expectationsFollow established lesson plans, curriculum, and classroom routinesMaintain a positive and supportive classroom environmentImplement accommodations and instructional supports as neededMonitor student progress and communicate concerns with the appropriate staffCollaborate with school leadership and other members of the instructional teamMaintain consistent classroom procedures and expectationsSupport the mission and specialized instructional model of Louisiana Key Academy Qualifications Louisiana teaching certification preferredExperience working with elementary/middle school students preferredExperience working with students with dyslexia or learning differences is a plusStrong classroom management and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a school team Anticipated Duration: December 1, 2026-February 21,2026 (Dates are approximate and could change slightly)
