Long Term, Grade 4 Teacher

About the role

Moharimet Elementary School, part of the highly respected Oyster River Cooperative School District, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Long-Term Substitute Teacher to guide and inspire a vibrant 4th-grade classroom from November 16, 2025, through March 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach core subjects including Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies
• Support students' social and emotional development
• Implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum standards
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance student learning

Requirements

• NH certification in Elementary Education
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and working with children
• Experience in a substitute teacher role preferred
• Effective time management and organizational skills

Skills

• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles
• Proficiency in technology integration

Pay

The per diem rate of pay will be $303.26, based on the BA Step A1 of the Teacher's Salary Schedule.

Schedule

The position will run from November 16, 2025, through March 1, 2027.
