Grade 4 Teacher (Long-Term Substitute)
Starting date: August 31, 2026. Position type: Full-time, temporary (September through December 2026). FTE: 1.0.

To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide instruction and support in assigned curriculum areas; make appropriate and equitable use of instructional resources and technologies; implement district, school, and program goals and objectives; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers; design, deliver, and assess curriculum according to district guidelines; provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning as applicable; and work collaboratively with colleagues. Participation in district and building leadership activities is expected.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instruction in the curriculum areas for which employed
- Utilize instructional resources and technologies equitably
- Implement district, school, and program goals and objectives
- Maintain contact and communication with scholars’ guardians/caregivers
- Design, deliver, and assess curriculum following district guidelines
- Provide in-person, synchronous, and asynchronous learning when applicable
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in leadership activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education, OR a valid Minnesota teaching license in another field and willingness to obtain an Out-of-Field Permission*
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 license*

Pay
$54,666.00 - $73,019.00 annually (view salary grid for details).
